Reno Guns & Range (RGR) is Nevada’s most advanced and largest Indoor Shooting & Training Facility.  It houses state-of-the-art technology in a purpose designed 24,000 sq. ft. building. They offer a variety of training technologies typically not available to the general public and rarely all under one roof.

RGR’s ranges can accommodate individuals, groups, private parties or meetings. Women, men, families, law enforcement and military with all levels of experience.

All lanes offer:

The custom designed concrete block structure is the foundation that supports over 200,000 pounds of insulation, steel and rubber.

This includes 10 gauge-galvanized steel and 3/8” AR-500 BHN steel throughout the backstop, overhead baffles, safety ceiling and tactical bay side walls.

Bullets are captured and contained within the bullet trap, which is made up of ballistic rubber media.

Tactical Shooting Ranges are different from static, or traditionally, designed firing range layouts in order to simulate and safely accommodate modern weapons training aspects. The most prominent feature of a tactical firing range is the overall range baffle layout.  The ceiling baffles are lined in close proximity to each other with a ballistic plate overlap of about 8″.  Our ballistic rubber trap system is designed to shoot up close, or at various angles, within the 20′ to point blank range.

Training

I discovered Reno Guns and Range when I took a class there. They are the only venue in the world where Combat Focus Shooting’s Two Person Armed Defense (2 Day) is taught. This is because of the unique Reality Based Training instructors and facility located on site.

The RGR Reality Based Training uses a combination of safe marking cartridges, highly trained instructors and role players to provide the best simulation of dynamic self defense situations possible today.

RGR offers private and group classes, concealed carry, women only classes, youth,  home protection, low light/no light firearms training, non-firearm training, Combat Focus Shooting, rifle and handgun, medical training even knife defense classes. The entire spectrum of training is available here.

Firearms Rental

The rental selection of over 150 firearms includes handguns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors and even MACHINE GUNS ! (Bachelor Party?)

The ranges are all full auto rated and machinegun fun is limited only by your budget. RGR has a full array of modern and historic guns available with professional range safety officers who can show you how to use them
