Uberti USA Adds Nickel Models to Short Stroke SASS Pro Line

Uberti USA has expanded its acclaimed line of Short Stroke SASS Pro revolvers to include four different configurations with a mirror nickel finish and simulated ivory grips. Designed for serious cowboy-action shooters and collectors for whom style and appearance are as important as substance and function, these new-for-2017 revolvers are variants of Uberti USA’s replicas of the Colt 1873.

The SASS Pro Nickel comes in two calibers: the venerable .45 Colt and the versatile .357 Magnum. Both chamberings are available in 4 3/4- and 5 1/2-inch-barrel configurations, the most popular among SASS shooters. Uberti USA’s family of Short Stroke SASS Pro revolvers offers competition-grade firearms that reduce hammer travel by approximately 20 percent compared to conventional single-action six-shooters. This shortened hammer travel means precious time saved in events where victories are measured in fractions of a second.
Moreover, these revolvers feature a low, wide, aggressively-checkered hammer for positive purchase and cocking, plus a custom-grade mainspring for unparalleled smoothness of operation. Another advantage of the low hammer is that it never obscures the sight picture even when it is fully down, making target-acquisition and retention a snap in the heat of competition. Sight picture is further enhanced by a wider rear channel (EasyView sights). The new Short Stroke SASS Pro Nickel has an MSRP of $869 and, like all Uberti USA firearms, carries the company’s unrivaled 5-year warranty.
