Tactical Solutions, a leading manufacturer and provider of innovative firearms, rimfire conversions and accessories introduces the highly anticipated TSAR-223 upper and complete rifle this week at SHOT Show. TacSol has a solid reputation for listening to consumer feedback and responding to consumer demand. So with the highly successful launch of their TSAR-300 in 2014, they took note of the overwhelming number of requests they received for that rifle in the widely popular Remington .223 caliber. This inspired the TSAR-223 which they are exclusively offering as a complete rifle or the standalone upper.
In keeping with TacSol’s mastery of suppressed weapons, the TSAR-223 features a 16.1” pre threaded barrel that allows for a shorter overall length when shooting suppressed. It provides the versatility of a short barreled rifle (SBR) without the red tape and NFA paperwork. TacSol is the first and only manufacturer to offer a product of this kind.
The upper features a ½”x28 pre-threaded barrel with a 1-8” twist and a legal length of 16.1” precluding the need for short barreled rifle paperwork. It offers a sleek design with a flat top upper and comes with a full auto mil spec bolt and carrier group. It boasts a Free Float Aluminum Handguard in M-LOK® or KeyMod, a standard AR Charging handle, comes with a 10 round magazine, and works with .223 Caliber Suppressors. The Shroud is permanently affixed to barrel in compliance with ATF regulations. It has a 12” Bore length with a 1.750” Maximum Suppressor Diameter and a 6.500” Minimum Suppressor Length.
