I’m happy to welcome another TAG Team member to the fold, Aaargo Jay. I first discovered Jay through his YouTube videos and was pleased to learn he was a fellow Wisconsin native (he currently resides in Milwaukee).
He gained his early-found love for the shooting sports from an uncle, a retired USMC sergeant, who instilled in Jay the fundamentals and responsibility of safety from the start. “I remember shooting, then going home upset because I was not able to actually own a gun because I was a kid. When I got old enough to buy a toy gun, which were taboo in my home, I bought a toy Beretta 92FS,” he told me. “I would play with it, then have to hide it from my parents.”
After graduating from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA, starting a family of his own, and becoming a public school teacher, Jay’s passion for shooting and guns continued, and he obtained part-time security work for a private security company. To this day, Jay enjoys what he calls his “semi-operator civilian” lifestyle. His enjoyment of the shooting sports and love of firearms culture was also what inspired him to start his YouTube channel, for which he produces videos centered around those topics.
I hope you enjoy the perspective he’ll be bringing to THE place to learn about firearms in a friendly setting.
