One of my favorite movies from years back is HEAT. I think what intrigued me the most about the the movie was the professional appearance of the bank robbers. Yes they openly carried AR style rifles into the banks, but under their business suits were low-vis rigs that retained several 30 round magazines. Nowadays that type of gear is quite popular, but back then it was pretty damn cool. Not only did they have some cool gear and weapons at their disposal, but they knew how to use said weapons, were physically in shape to be able to move under stress with heavy duffel bags of cash and still provided accurate cover fire. Although it is Hollywood action; the weapons, gear, and tactics used were pretty damn accurate. Take a look at the following video to watch Dom Raso replicate the final shootout scene to see if it could have REALLY been pulled off.
