I’ll admit it – I’m a big nerd. I love history. One historical period that especially fascinates me is the the World War II era, to the point that I get excited to go to WWII reenactments. In the one during which this photo was snapped, I was fortunate enough to get a few cool pictures with some of the equipment and arms from the time period, including beautiful battle-worn MG 34. I only got to pose with it, but one day I’d love to put a few rounds through an operational model.
