SIG’s X-Five Advanced Sport Pellet Air Pistol: Bring Training Home

June 4, 2018 by Mark Miller Leave a Comment

The SIG SAUER Advanced Sport Pellet (ASP) line of airguns just got better with the introduction of the new X-Five ASP CO2-powered pistol. Based on the popular X-Five Competition pistol, this semi-automatic .177 caliber air pistol has a single action only (SAO) trigger, ambidextrous safety and 20-round Rapid Pellet Magazine (RPM™).

Modern airguns like the X-Five add realism while allowing for more flexibility as to where you can shoot. Airguns are the perfect tools for teaching beginners firearms safety and the fundamentals of shooting. Back yards, basements and even hallways are sprouting pellet traps and becoming shooting venues. Professional shooters and police officers are buying airguns to get in more training.

Identical in size and weight to the real thing, the X-Five features a full-metal slide and frame with realistic blow back action virtually the same balance and feel as its center fire counterpart. Placed side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. Don’t take this airgun outside in an uncontrolled environment. The neighbors and local policemay not know the difference.

Like its firearm cousin, the X-Five air pistol has an adjustable rear sight and an accessory rail which allows easy mounting of a laser or tactical flashlight.

The CO2 loading port has a cam lever for quick and easy loading of the universally available and affordable 12-gram CO2 cartridges. The X-Five shoots up to 430 fps; however, velocity results may vary depending on temperature and altitude.

Available in two colors: Silver/Black or solid Black. MSRP: $139.99
