The AR-15 is one of the most ubiquitous guns in media and in real life which has also made it one of the guns that have the most options for accessories. Maybe even a bit too many accessories, because the AR-15 is a magnet for crazy accessories that will have you scratching your head and wondering what their creators were thinking.
1. TAC-SAC Picatinny Rail Accessory
What’s being shot from this AR-15? Let’s hope it’s not coming from the TAC-SAC Picatinny Rail Accessory, a rather decent-sounding name for what is pretty much the physical embodiment of the Deez Nuts meme.
This crazy AR-15 accessory serves no function other than to serve as a signal to other men at the gun range that you are the Man. As much as it would be cool if there were a small storage space in there for extra bullets, it really is just a way of showing the world that you have decided to grow a pair.
Unicun, the website that sells this accessory, says they’re 8 x 7 x 10 cm so that must count for something in terms of establishing your dominance.
But will Deez Nuts last? They most likely will since they’re made of ABS injection molded plastic and come with a sturdy bolt and screw for you to attach them to your Picatinny rail with.

2. Chainsaw Bayonet
As of the time this was written, the Kill-Saw Chainsaw Bayonet is out of stock due to supply chain issues so you may want to bookmark this article for future reference.
That said, just look at this thing. It’s the dream weapon of a zombie apocalypse survivor. Run out of bullets? No one to buy them from because everyone from your local gun store has turned into zombies? Just rev up the chainsaw on your AR-15 and start sawing through the living dead.
This crazy AR-15 accessory may not have an apparent and immediate practical use, but aside from a zombie apocalypse, it could come in handy for chopping firewood. Maybe.
The Killsaw is a cordless electric chainsaw that runs on a battery for anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. Sure, at 4 pounds it might make your AR-15 feel a little heavy, but it’s a small price to pay for the wackiest AR-15 accessory you’ll ever see.
The Kill-Saw Chainsaw Bayonet is available here from Panacea.
3. An Ultra Kawaii Anime Girl Skin
What’s better than a crazy AR-15 accessory? A crazy AR-15 accessory you don’t have to spend money on. This adorable pink and white gun wrap for the AR-15 is brought to you by Ring of Elysium, a F2P battle royale shooter.
A few years ago, they came out with the Sweetheart skin as part of a limited-time in-game event. Here’s the kicker, though: They didn’t produce it as a real-life gun wrap. It was intended to be just an in-game cosmetic, but fans of the game decided it was too cute to not slap on their real AR-15s (and AR-15 style airsoft guns).
Marksman YT has gone through the trouble of turning the in-game skin into a template that you can print out and apply to your AR-15. Granted, he only puts it on an airsoft AR-15, not a real one, but you can get the skin’s file from his video and have it printed by GunSkins.
GunSkins offers ready-made patterns that you can order as skins for the AR-15, but if none of their patterns appeal to you, you can always send in a request for a specialty pattern like the Sweetheart skin or, if you want something really classic, an all turquoise Hatsune Miku themed AR-15.
4. Cannon Soda Launcher
Don’t worry, the Can Cannon is a 100% BAFTE legal launcher designed for use with an AR-15 or M16 rifle.
X Products, the company that makes these soda can launchers, says you can also use them for launching any can-shaped object that you can fit in the cannon. Apparently, this includes everything from whipping cream to paint cans, making it a great crazy AR-15 accessory for wacky shenanigans and the world’s most painful game of paintball.
The Can Cannon launches its cans using a proprietary gas tube, just so you know X Products is serious about this, which is precisely cut for a perfect fit around your cans to ensure that each can launched is powerful, precise, and consistent.
You can get the Can Cannon here.
5. GoPro Camera Mount
Aside from the cute skin, most of these crazy AR-15 accessories don’t really have a lot going for them by way of practical application. But if you still want a fun accessory that doesn’t waste your money, you can always get the TacFire Tactical GoPro Camera Mount.
Like the anatomy-inspired accessory mentioned above, this one attaches to your AR-15’s Picatinny rail or weaver. Not only that, it claims to work with any GoPro camera.
This aluminum GoPro holder hangs onto your AR-15 with two included bolts which is more than enough to keep it secure as it films the action.
