(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Recently unveiled at the 2017 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pulsar Helion Thermal Monoculars heat up the thermal industry by setting the bar for feature-packed technologically advanced optics.

With 8 color display mode options, including “white hot” and “black hot”, variable magnification, onboard video recording capability with 8gb internal storage, Stream Vision App compatible Wi-Fi, 8-hr rechargeable battery, wireless remote control, germanium lens system, rugged glass-nylon composite construction and ultra-reliable IPX7 waterproof, fogproof and dustproof protection, Helion thermal monoculars are a perfect law enforcement, security, search & rescue and hunting solution in nearly any environment.

While XQ series devices include 17µm pixel pitch, 384×288 microbolometer resolution and fixed focus, XP models boast 17µm pixel pitch, 640×480 microbolometer resolution and adjustable focus. All Helion thermal monoculars feature a richly detailed 640×480 AMOLED display with a lightning fast, ultra-fluid 50Hz frame rate.

Pulsar’s Helion thermal monocular line up consists of 6 models:

XQ30F (PL77393) – Heat detection range up to 985 yds, 2.5-10x magnification

XQ38F (PL77394) – Heat detection range up to 1,475 yds, 3.1-12.4x magnification

XQ50F (PL77395) – Heat detection range up to 2,000 yds, 4.1-16.4x magnification

XP28 (PL77403) – Heat detection range up to 1,100 yds, 1.4-11.2x magnification

XP38 (PL77404) – Heat detection range up to 1,475 yds, 1.9-15.2x magnification

XP50 (PL77405) – Heat detection range up to 2,000 yds, 2.5-20x magnification

While the Wi-Fi and Stream Vision App can be used to monitor the Helion’s display from other devices like smartphones and tablets, the technology even allows your device to be used as a remote control. Pulsar’s Wi-Fi and firmware also make streaming video, data transfers and program upgrades exceptionally easy.
