No-Nonsense Tactical Gloves from Blauer

November 2, 2018 by Heath Layman Leave a Comment

No-Nonsense Tactical Gloves from Blauer

No Nonsense Gloves

The all-purpose Fray Gloves and the Strike Shooting Glove from Blauer are “no-nonsense” gloves.  These gloves from Blauer are intended for use by the modern law enforcement officer, soldier, outdoorsman, and more. Check out these great gloves and when you’re done reading, head over to Blauer and USE CODE: “50GLOVE” to get 50% off with a Buy One Get One deal!

The Fray Glove

I agree with Blauer when they say the Fray glove is a no-nonsense, water repellent, breathable, stretchable glove with a pre-curved thumb that fits your fingers like a second skin.

Blauer’s Fray glove also has molded EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate that is an extremely elastic material similar to rubber yet has excellent toughness) inserts with a balance of movement and protection.

The built-in protection is just enough to protect without looking or feeling like they are made for assaulting someone.  The sheep leather provides excellent “gription” and stays snug to the wrist with a hook and loop cuff closure.

The Blauer Fray glove seals the deal with the touchscreen-friendly index fingers.  Very often in the modern environment, we need to operate in involves computers and phones that require fingertip interaction.  You can keep the gloves on with the Fray glove. MSRP $37.99

The Strike Shooting Glove

The Strike Shooting glove is a fitted fabric and leather stretch glove that feels as thin as a pair of latex gloves.  The thin feel allows for tactility and comfort but also give an obvious layer of protection and warmth in moderately cool conditions.

Like the Fray glove, the Strike Shooting glove is made of water-repellent stretch fabrics.  The Strike Shooting glove is goatskin and Pittards Leather (Leather company established in 18266 known for high-quality leather in England) which make for great durability and grip.

The Strike Shooting glove has a mesh back for breathability and has a perforated Neoprene collar that is secured by a molded hook and loop closure.  The fingers and thumb are pre-curved for a better fit and the index finger is touchscreen enabled.  You get even wash these gloves in the washing machine. MSRP $35.99

Here’s the glove in action.

Blauer – a Well Rounded Glove

Both the Strike Shooting glove and the Fray gloves I tested were treated roughly and proved to be very durable and a good fit.  I appreciated the dexterity of the Strike Shooting glove while working on the range especially when doing some shooting through glass.

The ability to use them with my smartphone, watch, tablet, Mobile Data Terminal etc. just made them that much more valuable to me.  They are well-rounded gloves that fit many needs as opposed to some gloves on the market that do one thing really well but not so much when it comes to everything else.

Check out all the great gloves that Blauer has to offer here.
