Mechanix M-Pact Coyote Tactical Gloves

July 26, 2014 by Jonathan Wade 5 Comments

Mechanix M-Pact Coyote Tactical Gloves

When it comes to gloves, we have tons of possible avenues to take. In 14 years as a Canadian Light Infantryman I have tried countless different pairs of gloves. While some were from known companies, others were from local shops.

When I picked up a pair of Mechanix M-Pact Coyote Tactile gloves I immediately liked them. Sturdy and comfortable, the M-Pact also gives you a good tactile feeling.

Mechanix M-Pact Coyote Tactical Gloves
The M-Pact glove is still intact after numerous punishing sessions.

Available in 22 different models, the Mechanix tactical glove products have been used around the world. We see many pictures of US SOF operators wearing them while on deployment in Afghanistan and Iraq. Even we Canadians have been using them for a while now!

The Mechanix M-Pact have a knuckle guard system and a padded palm. According to the Mechanix website, two main characteristics are worth mentioning:

  1. Knuckle Guard – Impact Guard™ frees your index finger and molded TPR disperses impact and abrasion.
  2. Padded Palm – A second layer of grip material aids in durability with PORON® XRD™ for impact absorption.

FEATURES

  1. High impact PORON® XRD™ palm padding absorbs shock and vibration
  2. Molded Thermal Plastic Rubber (TPR) knuckle and finger impact protection
  3. Rubberized grip on thumb and index finger for improved control and abrasion resistance
  4. TrekDry® top-hand material helps keep hands dry and comfortable
  5. Second-skin fit with a hook and loop closure
  6. Machine washable

The Mechanix M-Pact Coyote glove is available on their website for the decent price of $34.95 a pair.
