The Walther Creed is the newest pistol that Walther has released onto the civilian market. To me, it seems like an upgraded PPX. This is terrific to me because I actually like the PPX and fine the Creed to actually be a step up and in the right direction.

The Creed takes alot of the design features that made the PPX a hit on the market and gave it a new look and feel. The grip on the Creed is more ergonomic, and the pistol is more streamlined overall. The PPX by contrast is very bulky and is basically, aesthetically, a shell of what Walther has been expected to produce. The Creed maintains the simple but rugged action and internals that made owners of the PPX feel confident in it’s ability to serve them for a lifetime. This simplicity in construction has saved in costs of manufacturing, without compromising the integrity of the platform. I will not try to take anything away from the PPX, but I think the Creed is exactly what the doctor ordered. The Creed is a PPQ for less. Of course, the trigger is not the same, but that won’t slow you down.
For decades, Walther has prided itself in outpacing the competition with quality products that are accurate, ergonomic, and reliable. But for most people the price has, in the past, been a little bit out of their range of affordability. I think Creed is a perfect name for this pistol, simply because it is spot on in describing the reason why they have such a loyal following. The Creed allows people to experience all the characteristics of Walther firearms, at a price of less than $400. I don’t know how you can beat that. I had to have one as soon as Walther got them on the market. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome the Walther Creed.
