I’m excited that as The Arms Guide continues to grow, we can provide more content from new perspectives. I’d like to welcome TAG’s newest writer, Brian, to the site. Here’s a little more info on the TAG Team’s newest member.
Brian is just plain passionate about life. Whether it’s playing too long with his kids, shooting too much ammo, rock climbing when it’s too cold, riding his motorcycle just a little too fast, or staying up too late trying to make a difference in his city—he lives life to the limit. Can you really have too much of a good thing?
He was introduced to shooting via hunting trips with his father as a young child. In high school, he got a job at an outdoor outfitter & another at a rock climbing gym where he met new people to go on adventures with. He began to toy with all the outdoor activities his dad had engaged him in as a child. Backpacking became a means to arrive at a rock-climbing destination. Canoeing became whitewater kayaking. Later, sighting in rifles before hunting season became competition shooting.
Now, Brian spends his days counseling and mentoring young men in an urban environment & continues to passionately pursue outdoor activities—especially the shooting sports.
If you have any questions about helping out the TAG Team (whether you’re considering becoming a writer for The Arms Guide, or just want to share your ideas or suggestions), feel free to let us know through The Arms Guide Comms Check.
