Subtle vs. Statement – Diversion Range Bags

Subtle vs. Statement - Diversion Range Bags - TheArmsGuide.com

Due, in part, to both the lack of firearms education, and misinformation promoted in much mainstream media, there are many people who view individuals who openly display firearms as threatening. It’s not fair, but it is an unfortunate reality. As a firearms owner, you may want to make a bold political statement to help to change that negative perception, or you may wish to have your interest in firearms kept away from the the scrutiny of strangers. If you’re one of the latter, than this post is for you.

There are situations where it may be difficult to carry your range gear without making a casual trip out to the local gun shop cause for a stranger’s alarm. For example, if you live in a densely populated area where you can’t control who sees you schlepping your new rifle out to the car, or if you just have some particularly nosy neighbors, it may be a challenge to keep you and your firearms out of the public eye. In circumstances such as these, how do you transport your guns without advertising your sport shooting hobby? Blackhawk has a potential solution for you: diversion range bags.

Diversion range bags operate as normal range bags for carrying guns and shooting gear, but under the guise of common sporting equipment. There are a few models to better accommodate for a range of firearms types and sizes. One of these diversion range bags looks like a tennis raquet case, while others look like gym duffle bags, or average backpacks. Diversion range bags like these are generally affordable (comparable in price to standard raquet cases, gym duffle bags, or bookbags, give or take a few bucks), and offer a convenient solution for subtly carrying your shooting gear to and from the range.
