Like most of the gun media world I’m paying close attention to Shot Show this week even though I didn’t attend. Creating a comprehensive list of new items would be daunting to say the least. I have a running new release list that’s robust though not complete. My list has almost forty items that are new and interesting for 2017 and it’s growing by the minute.
American Rifleman published an article on November 8 that let the public know about several of the items scheduled to be released this year. Perhaps it was a bit of a spoiler but it got us all salivating none-the-less.
You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social channels allow us to understand the buzz as if we were there. Here are my top ten items released at shot show this year. They aren’t all items that I’ll purchase but they are all items that I think are interesting for the industry.

I’ve attempted to allow my own interest to guide me while mitigating those interests with the buzz of Shot Show to compile this list. The resulting list is purely anecdotal and pure fun too! The H9 wouldn’t be the item I’d buy first on this list but it is the item that seems to have garnered the most buzz (at least from my distant perspective.)
