The Remington 870 Tactical is not necessarily perfect, but it is a great platform that is set up right out of the box to be an acceptable fighting shotgun. At a price of about $600, the Remington 870 Tactical answers alot of the needs of people looking for a good shotgun that they can fight with, or just have fun with.
Despite the few issues I have had with this shotgun, the Remington 870 has overall proven to be a reliable platform and has served me well over the years. Modular, adaptable, wide range of aftermarket parts, and a stellar reputation with military and Law Enforcement units around the globe. What’s there not to like?
