Haley Strategic shows how a pistol caliber SMG can get combat effective hits out to 200 yards.
With a 25 yard zero hits at 50 yards are a couple inches high.
At 100 yards the group widens but it is close to the 25 yard zero.
At 200 yards there is a two foot drop in hits. Without any hold over, these hits would be in the pelvic region, still a hit on a standing target, but less effective.
300 yards was a little bit different. With this gun and ammo combination, a 10 feet holdover is needed to get rounds on target. This is only a guide, with a longer barrel, your mileage will vary.
