What’s your favorite pocket pistol?
The Springfield XD-S line has quickly risen in my list of preferred concealed carry pistols due to their small frame, with surprisingly manageable recoil. I’ve reviewed both the 3.3″ barrel XD-S pistols in 9mm and .45 cal. However, in the past year, Springfield has released new options for their single stack pocket pistols, the XD-S 4.0. The 4.0 refers to the four inch barrel—a response to requests for the same slim grip with more of a range-friendly barrel. I’ve not yet fired the .45 cal XD-S 4.0, but I have put a few rounds through the 9mm model. Here’s a vid, if you were interested in seeing how it shoots.
