Shooting this select fire 9mm carbine by Thureon Defense was my first experience shooting full auto. I had a great time pouring through rounds with it. Nowadays, it’s a ludicrous idea to exhaust so much 9mm just for fun, so I’m now more even more grateful to have had the experience when I did. And, learning to shoot full auto, and how to manage the associated recoil, was easier using the low-recoiling 9mm pistol round. And, Thureon Defense brought the ammo, so it was all fun for me. Because this carbine had yet to be released when Andy (from Thureon) brought it out to my local range to shoot, we were able to use the footage to determine the approximate rate of fire. It turned out the be in the neighborhood of 900 rounds per minute. Talk about burning ammo, no? Now, I need to try something belt fed…
