The Original Multisport Holster: Gunfighters Kenai Chest Holster

There are many outdoor activities where open carry is legal and a very good idea. Remote areas can harbor predators of many species and a handy side arm can help you avoid unpleasant contact with them. The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as a practical way to carry a handgun when biking, hiking, hunting, kayaking, fishing or any other activity where having a firearm on your hip is inconvenient or impossible.

After spending years struggling with poor options for carry recreating in the Cascade Mountains of Washington, the crew at GunfightersINC knew that there had to be a better solution to carrying in the woods. Building dozens of prototypes, they finally came up with a design which placed the pistol in a secure and comfortable position, ready to draw when needed.

I have worn the Kenai hiking, running and biking. It is really all day comfortable and the combination of adjustable straps and elastic yolk holds the gun right where you want it as tight as you want it. Retention is solid, no need to worry about movement dislodging your gun. When you take it off, the straps separate from the holster for easy storage.

The centered position on the chest allows for a quick draw from any position, even when wearing bulky winter clothing or seated in a vehicle. Drawing is intuitive and easy. Unlike a shoulder, you don’t have to flag your self or others when you draw. Drawing while sitting down or in a vehicle requires a little more care.

Designed for all day comfort the buckles are strategically located to clear pack straps, rifle slings or binocular slings. The wide, flat webbing maximizes comfort while preventing chaffing or hot spots.

The harness is adjustable for most body types and can be worn low or high on the chest.  A 4 way stretch yoke sits flat to reduce pressure points while wearing a backpack providing comfort and mobility.

The Kenai Chest Holster is made of a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, weather proof qualities and light weight. The harness is sewn in house by GunfightersINC of 100% US made Nylon. It’s solution-dyed for long-term durability and color fastness. Additionally, all thread is coated with waterproofing and is UV resistant for a long lifespan.

Custom made for your gun, it is perfect for modern favorites such as the Glock 40MOS or the Ruger Super Redhawk. I got the Glock model so I can go from the compact Glock 19 to the long slide Glock 41 with no problem.

Wither you are protecting your property after a disaster or alone in the back country, a firearm on your chest makes you to be a hard target with out seeming aggressive. Your choice of firearm is virtually unlimited, you can carry the biggest handguns with maximum comfort.

About GunfightersINC

GunfightersINC was founded by a US Army Veteran in 2010 to build the highest quality Kydex gear possible for everyday carry. Disappointed by lack of high-quality holster options for his personal firearm, the founder of GunfightersINC decided that he’d build his own. Friends noticed and wanted holsters. The holster hobby soon became a full time job. GunfightersINC is now a rapidly growing innovator in the holster market, with a diverse product line of Nylon, Kydex and Leather.

Located in the Cascade Mountains in the town of Leavenworth, Washington; GunfightersINC is in the unique position of being able to test gear frequently both on the range and in the mountains. This allows us to rapidly prototype new designs and quickly test them to ensure everything we build meets our quality standards.
