Today’s church shooting in Texas was stopped an armed Texan engaged the killer and put an end to the rampage, the Texas Rangers reported to news.grabien.com.
First reports are almost always wrong, but a story is emerging from reliable sources.
Freeman Martin, Texas Ranger and spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, stated that the suspect dropped his rifle and fled after being confronted by a local man. Other law enforcement sources indicate that the armed citizen used an AR rifle.

The shooter, reportedly dressed in black tactical type gear and wearing a ballistic vest, entered the church with a Ruger AR rifle and fired at church goers. As he exited the church, a local hero engaged the shooter. The suspect dropped his rifle and fled in a vehicle.
The suspect later crashed his vehicle and was found dead of a gun shot wound.
