A highlight of the 2017 A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) 3-Gun University is the star-studded lineup of “professors” that will be instructing students on the rules and strategies of 3 gun. 3-Gun University takes place March 17-19, 2017, at the CMP Marksmanship Park in Talladega, Alabama.
Ashley Rheuark, member of Team GLOCK and overall winner of the 2016 Brownells Ladies Multigun Fall Fest, and Junior 3-Gun Champion Anniston Baluyot are teaching Fundamentals of Trigger Control and Sight Alignment in the classroom and Pistol Depth on the range. Heather Miller, member of Team Benelli and 2nd High Lady at Rocky Mountain 3-Gun World, and Stephanie Payne of Team Bushnell Tactical are teaching Match Operations in the classroom and Shotgun Depth on the range. Tina Martin-Nims, winner of ‘Ammo and Attitude’ Season 6 ALL STARS, and Rebecca King of the RISE Armament Shooting Team are teaching Firearm/Gear Setup and Maintenance in the classroom and Rifle Depth on the range. Cheryl Fordyce, Super Senior Winner of the 2016 2016 Brownells Ladies Multigun Fall Fest, and Katrina Reed, participant on Season 7 of ‘Ammo and Attitude,’ are teaching Mental Game in the classroom and Stage Planning on the range.
New and experienced competitors will be learning from the all-star instructor team that is presenting two days of coursework on the pistol, shotgun, and rifle that will be covered in a hands-on format to maximize knowledge and skills. On Day 3, students will run a 4-stage match putting their new skills to the test. Match Director Mark Passamaneck will create fun and challenging stages that will allow competitors to demonstrate their skills for success at the prize table, but more importantly long-term participation in the sport.
