After reviewing 80 or so handguns in 2016 I’ve developed some feel for where things might go in 2017. Happy New Year means Happy New Gun. We’ve seen Smith & Wesson turn the Shield into a classic, and Sig develop the chassis system into a practical application. What does the future hold for the now staple single-stack 9mm? With the SHOT show right around the corner here are my estimates of what we may see:
