Salomon, a sporting goods manufacturer based in France, is set to expand its Salomon Forces footwear line for military and law enforcement operators with new color options for the Speed Assault and Jungle Ultra models in 2017.

The Salomon Forces Speed Assault will now be offered in all black to go with the already-available burro, or brown model. Weighing just 11.29 oz, this ultra lightweight shoe, which features great ankle support and Contagrip chevron lugs, will help you get the job done in warm weather and wet environments. From desert deployment to jungle training camps, it will help you maintain speed for better attacks. The Speed Assault also features non-reflective materials to make it more stealth-like, as well as breathable anti-debris mesh, a protective welded toe cap and an injected EVA midsole. The high-traction Contagrip sole helps maintain balance in varying weather conditions.
Not satisfied with that, Salomon’s tough, heavy-duty Jungle Ultra boot will be available in a new grey-green color called Beluga beginning in early January 2017. The brown option will also still be offered. Here’s what you need to know about the Jungle Ultra.
