Pulsar has unveiled its new Quantum HD19A Thermal Monocular, which has been reviewed, tested and positively recommended by the membership of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), a renowned training and tactics resource for law enforcement professionals.

According to the press release, the Quantum HD19A Thermal Monocular is a IPX4 weather resistant thermal imaging optic designed to detect identifiable heat signatures at a distance of up to 515 yards. The Apex HD19A boasts a high microbolometer resolution of 384×288 and 640×480 display resolution with a 30Hz refresh rate. The Pulsar Quantum HD19A is powered for up to 5.5 hrs. with 4 AA batteries, and is a great tool for tracking, hunting, observation, and search operations.
