Getting your gear honed in is crucial prior to deployment. I need to know how my new gear is going to work if it is worth it and so on and so forth. Workups are a great time to get your gear ready and 99% of the time I stick with that same gear throughout the deployment (my deployments last a few months at a time). 4 pieces of gear that have consistently stayed the same are my Altama Maritime Assault Shoes, My AAC Frog by First Spear, My Gatorz Magnum’sand my ShotStop Ballistic’s level III+ swimmer plates. If it wasn’t for great companies like them, I truly don’t know where I would be. I work hand in hand with these companies testing out prototypes in order to get the best gear out to myself and all of the Loadout Room loyals.
