Designed for the serious hunter and target shooter, the Model 48 Long Range’s action is machined from a solid block of steel and built to provide a rigid platform for tack driving accuracy. The bolt rides on precisely machined action rails, while the front of the receiver is faced square to true up with the match grade 26″ Shilen stainless steel barrel.
The Model 48 Long Range features a single stage Timney trigger with integral two position safety. Meanwhile, the action is bedded with the barrel free-floated in a Manners MCS-T stock that uses both aluminum pillars in addition to a forgiving recoil pad for when you’re spending long days at the range or on the hunt.
