Kershaw Malt and Hops knives
The Malt and Hops are two new knives from Kershaw and custom knifemaker Gustavo Cecchini. Both feature Gus’ characteristic sculpted style but also have an interesting feature that (we admit) just may have been inspired by the fine brew we were sharing with Gus at the time:  a flipper that doubles as a handy bottle opener.
As one of the most sought-after custom knifemakers today, Gus is well known for his innovative knife technologies as well as the striking lines of his custom designs—clearly seen in the unique looks of these two knives.
The Malt’s blade measures 3 inches, while the Hops’ blade comes in at just under 1.5 inches. Both are perfect EDCs for when you want your pocket bling to get a little attention. A two-tone treatment on blade and handle add to the distinctive look. The ever-so-clever flipper/bottle opener and a single-position pocketclip anodized in blue round out the features.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Hops is just $39.99 and the Malt is $54.99.
