I’ve been living out of a backpack for the past 3 years across the globe despite having a an apartment in Miami and New York City. This kind of lifestyle is like being homeless but with homes all around the world.
What exactly is living out of a backpack?
It means functioning and thriving like any other person but with just the contents of what fits in a backpack.
So all your (immediate) possessions and essentials can be comfortably carried like a portable closet; clothes, toiletries, gear, meds, financials, kits, documents or anything one needs to live in the modern world.
Anyone can live a nomadically minimalistic lifestyle like this but most people are inundated with materialism.
That we should and must accumulate for a lack of a better word, stuff in order to be normal and happy.
