I have been using the Goal Zero Flip 10 every day now for the last four weeks, and it ensures that I never have a dead smartphone. While plugged into a USB-compatible device, the entire unit will charge in 2.5 hours. If using the Nomad 7 Solar Panel, the device will charge fully in between 2.5 and 5 hours, depending on how much direct sunlight is available.
Inside the Goal Zero Flip 10 Recharger is a Lithium-Ion NMC. This is similar to the type of battery used for power tools and powertrains in vehicles.
