“Elite Ammunition’s S4M, FNH Five seven pistol and Ballistic Gelatin protected by a Level IIIA in an Interceptor carrier. It’s always tiresome seeing so many ‘experts’ comparing it to a .22 mag. At least they’d get closer if they said .22 Hornet. I certainly understand their reservations and though I have a FNH FiveseveN, my favorite is still my Sig P229 in .357Sig to which I just added a Bar-Sto 9x19mm barrel. I now have a three caliber great quality sidearm and can feed my zombie apocalypse fantasy by knowing that I can scrounge 9mm or .40 anywhere 🙂  I am anxiously awaiting more real world AARs about the 5.7’s use and effectiveness.

Oh one thing I wanted to mention about the FiveseveN. I’ve tried it out on quite a few days with the X300 attached in its Raven RCS Phantom with the soft loops, 20 rnd mag and a spare 20 rnd on my weak side. It is so flat that I can conceal it easily under a very light cotton tank top and also so light that it makes my P229 and spare magazine (Kramer leather IWB) feel like a bowling ball by comparison.” – Kathy
