Buck Knives Adds Slim Options to Famous 110 and 112 Models

October 25, 2018 by The Loadout Room Leave a Comment

Post Falls, ID — Wednesday, October 24, 2018– Buck Knives has introduced a variety of new knives to their lineup this year, including slim profile additions to the 110 Folding Hunter and 112 Ranger lines.

Known famously as classic hunting knives, both the 110 Folding Hunter and the 112 Ranger are longtime customer favorites.  Iconic symbols for generations, these model designs are often imitated but never duplicated.  Buck Knives has created a modern solution for everyday carry. The 110 Slims and 112 Slims have been redesigned featuring colorful slim designs at competitive pricing.

These counterparts have been placed into two different product levels utilizing Buck’s “good-better-best” product levels that assign knives into different categories to help guide customers to the right kind of knife. The Pro level features a premium S30V steel with Micarta® and G10 handle options. The Select version, priced significantly lower, features Buck’s standard 420HC steel and lightweight nylon handles. All blades are finished with Buck’s advanced Edge2x™ technology that makes them sharper out of the box, hold an edge longer, and easier to re-sharpen.  All are made in the USA and backed by Buck’s respected Forever Warranty.

This new slim line includes a thumbstud for easy one-hand opening and lockback design for safe use. The stainless steel, deep pocket carry clip featured on each knife is removable and reversible to allow for quick and easy carry. The Slim Selects feature nylon handles and are offered in black, red, blue, and chartreuse colors.  MSRP: $38-$42. The Slim Pros are offered in OD green or brown Micarta® as well as a black G10 version. MSRP: $100-$110.
