Outdoor Retailer Demo Experience 2017 | UCO Gear

Today we had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Outdoor Retailer Demo Experience. This is where you can get actual hands on with the new products select companies are releasing. One of those companies that we stopped to talk to was UCO Gear. At their tent they were demonstrating the effectiveness of their Titan Stormproof […]

Marbles Catch 22 Rimfire Ammunition Dispenser

Marbles Catch 22 Rimfire Ammunition Dispenser

I recently did a review of my favorite .22LR revolver and the importance and adaptability of .22LR ammunition. The Marbles Catch 22 has a great method for carrying your favorite .22 ammunition into the field. Instead of having those small boxes of .22 fall apart in your pack, these give you an organized way to […]

FlowFold Optimist 10L Mini Backpack

FlowFold Optimist 10L Mini Backpack

We recently received several products from FlowFold to test and evaluate. I reviewed their Vanguard Wallet which has been working out really well as a lightweight minimalist wallet. In this short review we are taking a look at the Optimist 10 Liter Mini Backpack. Honestly one of the best things I like about the Optimist […]

Mobility equals Survivability | Can you move with your EDC?

Mobility equals Survivability | Can you move with your EDC?

Everyday carry gear needs to be practical, comfortable to carry and able to be retained on the body during physical activity. One way to shake things out is to workout with your EDC gear on your person. If at the end of your workout you have a garage sale of gear lying on the ground […]

Basic Navigation Kit

Navigation, Observation and Range Estimation Kit

I like to keep things simple, especially when it comes to navigating my way through the wilderness or some unknown remote region of the world. I recently read a book titled Some Thoughts On Scouts and Spies, which covers how the 18th-century woodland scouts and spies navigated through enemy territory without being detected, and what gear they […]

Watch: The Gunslinger of the Dark Tower

Watch: The Gunslinger of the Dark Tower

In a world full of superheroes, there’s only one Gunslinger. From the epic best-selling novels by Stephen King comes The Dark Tower. Idris Elba plays the part as the last Gunslinger. Watch him skin his smoke wagon and go to work defending The Dark Tower. The movie releases August 4th. Enjoy! “I do not aim with […]

The Pie Chart | Deconstructed by a Former Delta Operator

In the shooting industry we always looking for ways to improve our skills and accuracy. There are a plethora of books, DVD’s, and YouTube videos explaining how to ‘break bad habits’ so to speak. Honestly you can only learn so much from watching videos and reading articles. What needs to happen is that you go […]

Gerber Propel AO (Assisted Opening) Knife

I’ve always been a proponent of having a blade on you ALL the time. I have the privilege of testing many different knives and have done so over the past few years. One thing that can be time consuming and costly is finding that ‘perfect’ blade to carry with you everyday. Today we are going […]
