Gear Snapshot & Comments From Combat Tactics Magazine

I’m always searching the gun porn mags, Recoil is one of the only quality pubs on the market IMO. Most these magazines are obnoxious but provide good lessons at what not to do. Here’s my comments on the GEARHEAD segment of Combat Tactics Magazine (Have the Editors seen much combat? Not likely) Enjoy and feel […]

DEVGRU Operator Ensures Authenticity in MOH Warfighter

Having heard a first hand account and personally listening to the clusterfuck that ensued after the TOC OIC (will go unnamed) refused to send in our QRF team; I can tell you that this is the most realistic depiction of the Roberts Ridge incident. The OIC has blood on his hands and is proof positive […]

Navy SEAL Issue MK25: A Personal Favorite

I initially chose to carry the heavier MK23 SOCOM by HK because of a rash of bad SIG magazines.  I think the MK25 is a great pistol even though it’s a monster compared to the 226.  I eventually learned to love the SIG line and glad we (the SEALs) put the Beretta out to pasture […]

Authenticity in Video Games: Medal of Honor Warfighter

I’m a fan of  Medal of Honor Executive Producer Greg Goodrich’s ethics around the Military and his commitment to ensuring that the community is well represented. He cares and it’s appreciated by guys in the Spec Ops community. Ethics on Point Here’s a great interview Greg gave recently in response to an attack on Medal […]

What REAL Men Wear

Paul was a mans man and would definitely agree with The LOADOUT ROOM when it comes style and our view on mens fashion. So what’s ok and what’s not? See below… No. Yes.

LBT-2595D MULTICAM Three Day Light Backpack

It is no secret that LBT is a sponsor of ours but in all honesty you’ve probably noticed that we only partner with solid companies that we believe in (e.g. you will not find some ACME me too tactical brand on here). Main Features * Heavy duty carry handle * Covered ports for hydration system […]

Glock 19 First Impression

First let me say that I’m a HUGE Glock fan.  I carried the 17 when I worked for a certain three letter group in Iraq and have fired thousands of rounds through it without a hitch.  When I was looking to have something a little more concealable (I don’t like Glock’s small carry options) I […]

THULS Sniper Data “Dope” Book

The good folks at THULS sent us a few custom sniper data books to take a look at a while back. I ended up giving one of the books to a sniper in the SEAL Teams and he’s not given it back yet, and this is always a good sign. He did report back that the […]

One of My Personal Favorite Bolt Action Sniper Rifles: The Blaser

Why I know that the future of guns are not “bolt action” rifles, my favorite bolt action gun would have to be the innovative straight pull action of the Blaser (owned by Sig Arms). Sniper rifles should be minimalistic. They are for hunting and don’t need to have miles of rail system or every damn […]
