Slovenia-based gun maker Arex has unveiled a new tactical version of its Rex Zero 1 pistol dubbed the Rex Zero 1T.
Available in both black and flat dark earth, the 9mm Rex Zero 1T boasts a 4.9-inch, 1.5×28 threaded barrel with a protector. Also included is Arex’s ROR (Rex Optics Ready) system, which includes four plates for attaching optics made by the likes of Trijicon (1st plate), C-More (2nd plate), Shield & JPoint (3rd plate), and Eotech/Vortex/Burris/Docter/Insight/Meopta (4th plate).
The Rex Zero 1T also features an ambidextrous safety and magazine release; high profile white dot steel sights; forward cocking serrations; loaded chamber indicator; full length slide rails; large trigger guard for use with gloves; nitrocarburized steel slide made from solid bar stock; hard anodized T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert; and a Picatinny railed dust cover.
Arex says this pistol can be operated either “cocked & locked” or safely de-cocked for double action/single action operation.
The Rex Zero 1T comes with two 20-round magazines. The black and flat dark earth models are both available at a suggested retail price of $869.99. This pistol is being brought to market in the United States through Las Vegas-based importer Fime Group.
