As someone is focusing on improving their fitness, I find that there are 2 groups that arises. First there is the ‘drink coffee and lift heavy things’ camp or there is the ‘cardio is the only exercise you need’ camp. Each camp could not be further from the truth. In order to live a balanced fitness lifestyle you need strength conditioning just as much as you need cardio. I workout 5 of the 7 days each week and of those days two of them are solely focused on strength explicitly for at balance.
This particular workout looks to scale back the intensity interval training so that you can focus on lifting heavy things; yet, keep your heart rate up. The great advantage to this workout is that you can very most of the exercises to increase or decrease the difficulty level. If you are still new to working out you can easily scale this back by adapting the workout to your needs or challenge yourself by increasing the weight or adding a movement. Simply adding a push up to an exercise can do wonders of taking your workout to the next level. Check this out and tell me what you think!
