Cardio training is one of the greatest ways to improve your health. But, what does that have to with firearms and shooting? Everything. Think back to your last visit to the gun range. After launching several hundred rounds out of your favorite weapon, how tired were you when you packed up and left the range? Did you feel like dozing off on the drive home? I know I sure have; however, there is a way to overcome that sleepy drive home.
High Intensity Interval Training (or HIIT) can dramatically improve your cardiovascular fitness. In this week’s workout, you will concentrate on your arms, shoulders, and abs. The gym I attend calls this workout ‘Everything Counts’ and I will freely admit, you want everything to count because this will be challenging. But, you have the ability to incredibly increase the number of rounds you can do in just a matter of a couple of weeks. Give it a try and see what you think!
