When you see a Scar coated up to look like Boba Fett at a Shot Show booth you pay attention. If Kinetic was looking to attract a nerd or two they did. It caught my eye and I had to come in and take pictures of it. What I stayed around for was the innovation and products Kinetic offers. This includes the best MLok rail system I’ve ever seen.
Simple intuitive, and innovative, the nest Mlok rail system at Shot
So what makes it the best MLok rail system? The fact that it attaches and detaches in an instant. Who doesn’t love a quick detach mount scope? The same can and does apply to rail sections. I call it the best MLok rail system, but Kinetic calls it Kinect Mlok. Get it? It’s a play on words. You know Kinetic and Kinect and Kinect is like…. Well you get it.
If you are a knuckle dragging crayon eating Marine like me, here’s a video.
As you can see it’s not just MLok rail systems, but a variety of accessories can be attached in a variety of ways. That’s why it’s the best Mlok rail system.
The Mrex rises
Now you have the attachments, but do you have the rail? As a Scar owner, I’m constantly jealous of the options the AR 15 plebes get with their rifle. Stocks, rails, uppers, lowers, and everything else. So when something for my blessed Scar comes out I take notice.
Kinetic has a rail system known as the Mrex. This is a Mlok rail of course and comes in a variety of flavors. You can go black or FDE, and it comes in two lengths. For the standard civilian Scar the rail is 6.5 inches. If you go the SBR route you have the 4.9-inch option. Both rails look sharp and as I handled them at Shot Show 2017 I could believe how comfortable they felt. They make the civilian Scar function and look a ton better. That 16-inch barrel looks so odd in contrast to the military variant.
Kinetic makes a kick ass Scar rail, the best Mlok rail system I’ve ever seen and they also make unique quick detach scope mounts. I’m not super knowledgeable on high end scope mounts as I tend to shoot mostly iron sights. I was impressed by how simple and intuitive their system was though. Here’s a short video on it too.
Kinetic actually makes a ton of super high-quality parts that I didn’t get to play with too much. So I suggest checking out their website, especially if you are a Scar fan.
