One recent night, around 11PM, three men entered a crowded Hot Kicks shoe store in a strip mall. We don’t know why there was a group of people in a shoe store at 11 PM. They had larceny in their hearts and pistols in their hands.
The three armed men became “suspects” when they came in through the unlocked back door and began firing. It looked like smooth sailing for our pirates when a man in the store (subsequent events reveal him to be a ninja) took a weapon from one of the pirates gun and exchanged gun fire.
The surviving two gunmen fled. Responding police officers discovered a 19-year-old suspect critically injured behind the business. Later that night, the two other suspects, both 18, showed up at TriStar Centennial Medical Center with gunshot wounds.
The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed in the case.
Let’s review, 11pm at the shoe store, three armed men enter, one was disarmed, all three were shot and two survivors fled. The ninja appears to be uninjured.
Thanks to WKRN in NASHVILLE, Tennessee for this gripping story.
I can’t wait to see the surveillance video, so until it comes out, we can watch this and imagine Tom Cruise was in a shoe store and had to take a gun from one of the bad guys first.
