This year, Keltec has released two new guns on the market. One is a KSG and the other is a newer variant of the RDB, and both have been pretty popular for Keltec.
The KSG has been popular in the civilian market for people who want to carry as many 12 gauge shells as possible in a compact shotgun, without losing the capabilities given by a full 18″ barrel. Personally, I thought the design was awesome, and only got better with improvements. But now Keltec decided that the tried and true KSG wasn’t enough, and it was time to up the ante. My guess is these advancements are to answer all the companies that seemed to have followed Keltec into the bullpup shotgun market.
The RDB is still considered a new design since they are still somewhat hard to get still. The RDB is a downward ejecting bullpup rifle that has been a hit on the 2016 market, so much that I have rarely seen them available anywhere. I am wondering how the RDB line of rifles will do this year with a whole new variant of the rifle being released now.
