My first knowledge of this “invisible cloak” technology came to me around 6 months ago. Â I was somewhat skeptical of the technology because it seemed to be something out of a science fiction movie, and after all who would or could believe it?
A company, based in Canada, Hyper Stealth, has developed something that they call Quantum Stealth.  Quantum Stealth “is a material that renders the target completely invisible by bending light waves around the target. The material removes not only your visual, infrared (night vision) and thermal signatures but also the target’s shadow.”  Sound a bit unreal?  According to Hyper Stealth, the company has successfully cloaked a military UAV.  “The UAV was able to taking off, fly a course at high-speed, return back and land, repeating these tasks multiple times without any apparent change in the flight characteristics of the UAV,” as of September 9, 2013.
This technology was also recently demonstrated to a few US Special Operations Forces. Â The technology is considered to be “Top Secret”, and will only be available to military and special law enforcement agencies.
Not sure what to think about this leap in military technology as of yet, especially considering the fact that this can fall into the wrong hands just as every other weapon in our arsenal does.
