The 2017 SHOT Show is just around the corner. Inboxes are filling with new product announcements, and people on the internet are already passing harsh judgement on items they’ve seen just a small image of. Once again we’re going to be there to share all of the goodies, vaporware, and well-intentioned but ill-conceived items. And drink. We’ll drink too.
Stay tuned to our social media for updates on all of it, and we’ll also have a contest or two where you can score some choice gear. Without further ado, here are our new product predictions for the 2017 SHOT Show.
Glock, Glock, but Not Glock
Aftermarket Glock slides are as popular as ever, even with Glock dropping the MOS series last year. We’ll see more slides coming from more companies. With the announcement of the Glock 19-sized 80% receiver from Polymer80, you’re probably going to see some companies announcing their own completed OEM frames at the show utilizing that receiver as a base. Metal drop-in trigger shoes have also been popular, so anticipate N+1 companies announcing and releasing them. Compensators will also be hot from a couple companies.
