PWS Glock Enhanced Duty Slide: Match Precision, Duty Reliability

The Primary Weapons Systems Enhanced Duty Slide provides all the custom features and performance you want with drop in convenience.  If you are looking for a slide for your 80% build or just want to upgrade your stock Glock for performance, the EDS is there for you.  No gunsmith skills?  No problem.  Enhanced Duty Slide replaces your current slide, one size fits all.

The EDS is available for Glock 17 and 19 with Gen 1-3 triggers. Sight options are factory sights, Trijicon HD night sights and the new RMR cut version for red dot fans.

I have had the EDS-17 on my competition gun with a KKM Precision barrel for almost a year now.  I have taken it to a couple of schools and shot numerous matches and after 5000 rounds, it looks and shoots like new.  The PWS Enhanced Duty Slide smooths the stock trigger pull of Gen 1-3 series Glock Pistols, creating a consistent and crisp 4-pound trigger break.

The slide is a part often taken for granted.  The trigger gets a lot of attention, but the work and friction of the striker all takes place in the slide.  When you manipulate the pistol, hands go to the surfaces of the slide.  The sights and barrel ride with the slide and they must interface perfectly.  The EDS makes all these things happen just right.

My groups at 25 yards were cut in half in size.  You can’t use precision parts as a crutch if you can’t shoot, but when you are ready to go to the next level, you can see the difference.

I also added “The Edge” from Glockriggers.com, a Glock Grip Force Adaptor,  Glock OEM extended slide stop and magazine release. In my mind, this is everything you need for a 3 gun match gun.

Enhanced Duty Slides are billet-machined from 17-4 Stainless Steel and coated with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) for surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Front slide serrations et you press check and run the gun aggressively.
EDS  are available with standard Glock sights, Trijicon HD Night Sights with a Yellow Front Outline and an RMR cut.

I love the Trijicon HDs! Recently adopted by the FBI for their Glock 17M and Glock 19M, the HD was designed for the extreme challenges of law enforcement and military.  The sights have a yellow or orange photo luminescent paint outline and tall blade on the front sight that grab your eyes and speed up sight acquisition. Another great feature, the front surface is hooked  one-handed slide operation.

Installation is Easy as 1-2-3

Engineered to be a drop in replacement for factory Gen1-3 Glock 19 & 17 frames, trigger enhancement is now as easy as a field strip with the PWS EDS.

The RMR cut model opens a whole new technology.  If you have never tried an RMR on a handgun, now is the time.  The new sights are easy to use and give folks with vision issues a fast new option.
