The Arms Guide has grown again. It’s my pleasure to introduce our newest contributer, writer Mike Marit.
Born in Northeast Wisconsin, Mike has always been around guns and had an interest in them. He grew up hunting whitetail deer with a shotgun. But in 2009 he was swept up by the AR-15 craze, and he began using his AR-15 for deer hunting. Mike is currently on a quest to learn about hunting practices with AR-15 rifles and the best uses of tactical gear and accessories. On The Arms Guide, Mike hopes to inform others who are looking for useful and practical AR-15 information. When asked to describe himself, Mike answered, “I want to be of help to gun owners who don’t go out on run-and-guns every weekend. I would most definitely NOT call myself an ‘operator’. I’m just a guy that wants to become as proficient and well-rounded with my weapons as possible.”
His other passions include Jesus, raising cattle, the outdoors, the Green Bay Packers, martial arts, and basketball. Mike studied Professional Writing and Journalism at UW-Milwaukee before moving back to Northeast Wisconsin. Mike is currently a full-time technical writer in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
Welcome to The Arms Guide, Mike. We’re happy to have you on the Team.
