The Small Arms Defense Journal made its debut at the LAAD Trade show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2009. The publication and web site focuses on topics and ideas that involve all forms of small arms for the Law Enforcement, Armed Security and Defense Industries. They also profile new companies and technologies that are emerging from all corners of the globe. The tests performed during these field trials used a system that allowed the engineers to shoot, test and measure accuracy and velocities from barrels ranging in length from 24″ all the way down to as short at 7″.
