There are a number of Glock triggers on the market with different features. Decades ago, the New York City Police Department switched from revolvers to Glocks. They were afraid that the short and light trigger would induce negligent discharges. They demanded that Glock come up with a trigger which had a more revolver like feel. The result was the infamous “New York” trigger.

The New York trigger is not for everyone. It is widely believed that the New York Police Department has a low hit rate because the heavy trigger makes their Glock harder to shoot. Who knows, maybe one of the triggers would work for your application.
