I recently wrote an article on the importance of training at 25 yards for accuracy. This is important in order to be able to incapacitate a threat wearing body armor. Becoming confident in this skill requires some professional training and consistent practice. Shooting at distance with a pistol requires you to have the basics mastered (grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control). In this video Dave Spaulding shows how he determines his ‘hold’ at distance with a pistol. You’ll only be able to determine this with practice. I really like the process Dave goes through and recommend it to any shooter wanting to be consistent and accurate at distance with their fighting pistol.
