The CSAR, or Chronograph Search and Rescue, is a bulletproof military-grade pilot’s chronograph that’s rated for extreme use at altitudeand in aquatic environments. The beefy stainless steel 46mm case houses a workhorse self-winding Swiss chronograph movement and is topped with a knurled screw-down crown, uni-directional bezel and a 3mm-thick sapphire crystal for maximum scratch and crack protection.
The CSAR is a true tool watch. Featuring three separate sub-dials, the watch is capable of recording elapsed time events of up to twelve hours. When engaged, the central arrow chronograph hand springs to life recording elapsed minutes via the sub-dial at 12:00 and hours at 6:00. At 3:00 rests a running seconds sub-dial allowing you to keep track of your running time alongside the high-vis hour and minute hands.
The hands and hour markers are illuminated by encapsulated Tritium (Isotope H3) light sources for visibility in extreme low light conditions and are augmented with MaraGlo paint for unparalleled readability. The day and date windows are quick-set adjustable via the crown. Screw down pushers activate, stop and reset the chronograph.
