Correcting for Rifle Cant in Precision Long Range Shooting:

Precision Long Range Shooting: Correcting for Rifle Cant

June 23, 2018 by The Arms Guide Leave a Comment

Precision long range shooting has grown in popularity over the last several years. New technology has allowed shooters to successfully engage targets at distances previously thought impossible. A level reticle is vital for success at longer ranges, so the product development team at Warne have designed a Universal Scope Level that attaches to any scope tube.
In this video, former Army Ranger sniper team leader Ryan Cleckner explains how important it is to keep your rifle straight up and down when shooting at distance. A slight cant to your rifle can cause misses when long-range shooting. Check out Ryan’s book Long Range Shooting Handbook: A Beginners Guide to Precision Rifle Shooting at http://nssf.it/clecknerbook Ryan Cleckner is a best-selling author of the Long Range Shooting Handbook and is currently a practicing firearms attorney [https://rocketffl.com/].

Warne USL retracted
The Warne USL is unique from other levels because of its ability to deploy the level from an aluminum housing for use or stow, keeping the unit safe from being snagged when not in use.
Made of 6061 aluminum, the USL is available in 1″, 30mm, 34mm and 35mm sizes and is ambidextrous while weighing only .9 oz.
MSRP is $99.99 and is available wherever Warne products are sold.
