During last years Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show, I traveled with one bag; the Camelbak Urban Assault. It has been by far the best pack to use for minimalist travel anywhere from overnight to a few days. The trip out to Salt Lake City, Utah was 6 days, which was a stretch for this bag, but it handled it well.
The Camelbak Urban Assault not only accompanied me during the travels and on the floor of the show, but also on some short excursions into the Wasatch National Forest and Deer Valley Ski Area. Myself and Loadout Room writer Erik Meisner went on a few short hikes, rock formation free climbs, and then headed to the top of Deer Valley Ski Area via the ski lift and worked our way back down on foot.
The pack performed flawlessly during all our mini adventures and has continued to perform on other trips. If you’re a digital nomad and are in the market for a backpack that can house all your electronics as well as clothing and other essentials, then you need to take a hard look at the Camelbak Urban Assault.
